2006, 12 minutes
Wife and husband team Mirta Gómez and Eduardo del Valle, two mid-career Cuban-American photographers, at work documenting the metamorphosis of the vernacular architecture in the Yucatán Peninsula, México. The film explores how their image making seeks to document a disappearing form of architecture -- the ancient building types, constructed by hand from organic materials.
